Martti Suosalo's Theatre Circus Suosalo comes to Hanko in August with three performances and two guest artists

Theatre Circus Suosalo brings its rantaruntti tour 2026 to Hanko in August. As an added attraction, Maustetytöt on August 16th.
The original idea behind Circus Suosalo, led by Martti Suosalo, is as follows: 'Since my time at Oulu Youth Theatre, I imagined myself touring with a circus tent. In 2023, I finally had a tent made for myself. A 17-meter-diameter circus tent, seating 300 people, was made in Keuruu, at Finland's only fabric tent factory. The tent fabric was brought from England. For the tent, Circus Apollo's old tiered seating was renovated.'

Theatre Circus Suosalo will tour Finland for the fourth time in late summer 2026.

'I am grateful that the tent has gained public favor and established its place in the Finnish theatre scene. Next summer's tour will offer both our troupe and the audience unforgettable evenings in peculiar places,' says Suosalo.
