Grace (Jennifer Lawrence), a New York writer, moves with her partner Jackson (Robert Pattinson) to a remote farmhouse so she can better focus on her writing and their life together. Romance blossoms and the vinyl records spin. Their first child is born. Grace is left alone with her young son while Jackson travels for vague work assignments. Life begins to fall apart.
