New York writer Grace (Jennifer Lawrence) moves with her partner Jackson (Robert Pattinson) to a secluded farmhouse to better focus on writing and their life together. Romance blossoms and vinyl records spin. Their first child is born. Grace is left alone with their young son as Jackson travels for unspecified work. Life begins to fall apart.
