From director Maggie Gyllenhaal (Oscar nominee for The Lost Daughter) comes THE BRIDE!, a film starring Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley and Oscar winner Christian Bale. It is a bold, uncompromising narrative of one of the world's most captivating stories.

Lonely Frankenstein (Bale) travels to 1930s Chicago to ask pioneering scientist Dr. Euphronious (five-time Oscar nominee Annette Bening) to create a companion for him. Together, they bring a murdered young woman back to life, and thus The Bride (Buckley) is born. Neither of them, however, could have imagined the consequences of their actions: Murder! Possession! A wild and radical cultural current! And a fierce and passionate romance between outlaw lovers!

The film stars Buckley, Bale, Peter Sarsgaard, and Bening, along with Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Oscar winner Penélope Cruz. Maggie Gyllenhaal's direction is based on her own screenplay, and Oscar nominee Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Talia Kleinhendler, and Osnat Handelsman Keren serve as producers alongside her. Carla Raij, David Webb, and Courtney Kivowitz serve as executive producers.
