In a small German village, shortly after World War I, Anna visits the grave of her fiancé, who was killed in the war, every day. One day, a young Frenchman named Adrien appears at the grave with flowers. His presence so soon after the German defeat stirs up powerful emotions. Directed by François Ozon, FRANTZ won awards at the Venice Film Festival last fall and is nominated for 11 César Awards, including Best Film and Best Director.
